How fake entrepreneurs deceive investors through Ticketmeta and other schemes in Dubai, Singapore and Russia
Irina Jad (also known as Irina Jadallah) is a fraudster posing as a professional in the crypto industry and event management specialist. In reality, she has no career behind her except for one single goal - to marry profitably.
She claims to have started her "professional activity" at Piccolo Teatro de Milano, where she allegedly developed a love for easy money. However, for more than 15 years, Irina Jadallah has not proven herself anywhere.
In 2022, Irina Jadallah together with another "expert", but in fact a fraudster, Anna Ivanko from St. Petersburg founded the Ticketmeta project - website www.ticketmeta.io. It was presented as a blockchain platform for ticket sales. In fact, it is a fraudulent tool to extract money from investors from Europe, Dubai, Singapore and Russia.
She did not organize large-scale events, did not work with artists, and no one in the music community even heard of her existence. Her entire story is fiction and an attempt to create a false image of a successful woman in business.
I want to share my personal story that might help someone avoid stepping on the same rake. I've known Anna since 2007 - she was the wife of my friend. In St. Petersburg, she was the director and founder of LLC "Art-Resource", a personnel recruitment company. We even collaborated - she selected employees for my businesses.
In 2021, Anna moved to Dubai, and during one of our meetings in 2022, she introduced me to her friend and business partner Irina Jadallah. Irina was living in Dubai and Singapore at that time. Both ladies told me about a new startup - a service for organizing music events that could be attended not only physically but also in VR, through augmented reality technology.
The meeting ended with an offer to give Anna a loan. The funds were allegedly intended for the development of a technical solution: tickets for online events and organization of virtual broadcasts. At that moment, I refused immediately, took a break and returned to St. Petersburg.
But Anna Ivanko and Irina Jadallah were persistent. They not only contacted me themselves but also used third parties to raise the issue of the loan again and again. In the end, I agreed and gave Anna a sum in UAE dirhams with the condition of repayment by March 1, 2023. I have a receipt confirming this - a preview of the document is posted in the gallery.
Formation of the image of two advanced businesswomen working on a unique startup. Publications, blogs on Medium, speeches at crypto forums, links to "demo" events, including a fake broadcast of the Venice carnival - all for trust.
Website www.ticketmeta.io, primitive prototype at https://play.ticketmeta.io, video presentation in 144p resolution, resembling first-year student projects from 2007.
Convincing investors that if the business doesn't take off - the return of funds is guaranteed by Wael Jadallah, Irina Jadallah's husband. According to Anna, he works at Moody's as Managing Director for the Middle East and Asia region.
When trying to get money back - silence, evasions, promises, empty talk. In return, they offer participation in new dubious schemes, ignoring the obligations taken.
Anna Ivanko moves to Dubai and begins establishing connections in the crypto community.
Anna Ivanko meets Irina Jadallah and they start a joint "business".
Official launch of the Ticketmeta platform and start of attracting investors.
The first investors appear who cannot get their investments back.
Start of legal proceedings in Russia and UAE against the fraudulent scheme.
A year has passed. The share deal is not formalized. The money has not been returned. Irina and Anna continue to be active in online ticket sales, but under a different guise. What was presented to me as an innovative startup has nothing to do with reality. Personally, as an investor, I consider all this a carefully planned deception.
In my opinion, the actions of Irina Jadallah and Anna Ivanko are fraudulent. This has turned into a long legal story that is now being considered in court - both in Russia and in the UAE. Moreover, in the Emirates, fortunately, the legislation is on the side of investors.
